Interesting to contemplate. It's not really different from leaves that gather along the curb and, while no one wants anyone to slip, we navigate worse issues on Lark all the time in terms of trash, uneven sidewalks, potholes, etc.Is it better to have organic/biodegradable matter taking up landfill space in trash bags? Maybe someone has a better solution than either dumping them on the street or throwing them in the trash. Too bad the city doesn't pick up compost.

They dump waste water out in the street daily. Why not use their indoor plumbing?

It's a few buckets of water that flowers have been sitting in. Maybe the old plumbing can't handle the small leaves and petals that inevitably fall off in the buckets. It's mostly water. Lark sees a lot worse. If only we could get the trash litter, cigarette butts, and baggies of dog poop off the sidewalks and from around the trees. It may not be ideal, but I'll pick water and rose petals any day.
