I have a meeting with the Point Beautification Chair this week and will review this location and other planter moving requests. Please note we are severely short staffed and will need to move them on a rain day when resources allow.

This happened when a large boat was being trailored down to the shipyard and they couldn't make the turn from van Zandt to Washington st. I have multiple videos as it was happening. They also bent the street and stop signs and drove over the curb leaving large truck tire divots in the grass. Please email me if you would like the videos or name of the boat

The city has agreed to relocate these planters as soon as we receive confirmation that the Point Association wants no other park planters in the neighborhood relocated as it requires considerable work hours, specialized equipment and the posting of no parking signs to move the planters.
