Thank You for bringing this matter to our attention. Upon inspection it was determined that the area in in question was actually a utility trench in need of final restoration. This service request has been forwarded to Inspection and Engineering who will notify the contractor of record that repairs are needed

Do to the status change of the utility trench needing repair to a large sink hole developing I have asked that the Traffic Division close the road indefinitely. Contractor of record will be put on notice that damages incurred will be their full responsibility.
